Slush is a student-driven, non-profit movement originally founded to change attitudes towards entrepreneurship. Held during the darkest time of the year in Helsinki, Finland, Slush has always been characterised by a unique energy and enthusiasm. The very core of Slush is to facilitate founder and investor meetings and to build a worldwide startup community.
With the Investors’ Dinner @ Slush, BBN.net has in cooperation with EIT Digital created a matchmaking event where selected European innovative, high-growth digital startups meet international VCs in an exclusive 3-course dinner format. In small groups, the startups will share a table with investors pitching their idea and business model. To ensure that the startups get the most out of this format and more than one chance to connect to the VCs, they switch seats after each course.
Participating startups should show first market traction, have a European focus and an investment need from € 1 – 10 M. They will get nominated by local partners, which have a reputation in the startup scene of the different regions. The final selection will be made by media:net berlinbrandenburg. Startups should be mainly acting in the field of digital (media), web, mobile, tech and games. At the dinner they will pitch and speed-date with international VCs from Germany, the Baltic Sea region, Scandinavian countries and beyond.
Startups pitching their ideas and establishing business contacts to Investors while enjoying a great dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. Sounds good, right?
