…and we had a blast!
The Game Industry Conference took place from October 5th to 8th alongside the Poznan Game Arena, one of the most important and largest game expos in Europe. Over 71 000 visitors enjoyed the show by testing games and hardware from more than 130 exhibitors. There are more than 400 studios and 5 000 people working in games development in Poland and if you want to meet them, these two events are really the best place to go to.
And that’s exactly what we did. We met with people from local and international games studios, game developers, service providers etc. and invited them all to our BBN.net networking reception on October 7th. About 150 people from all sectors of the industry followed the invitation and made it interesting and exciting to start a conversation with the person next to you.
The GIC offers a great atmosphere, amazing speakers and workshops, such as the Intel Buzz Workshop with great guests, one of them being John Romero, and with the Pitch and Match tool and the business lounge a perfect opportunity for networking and building up business cooperations.
Thanks to Jakub Marczalkowski for organizing the event and to everyone who joined in for the reception!
